Preview vols. 2009 and 2010:
The Yearbook/Jahrbuch of the Simon Dubnow Institute, with articles in English and German, addresses an international scholarly readership. The volumes center on topics in the history and culture of the Jews in East and West, as part of universal history. Of special interest are the Jewries within the old continental empires of Russia, the Habsburgs and the Ottomans, whose history is instructive for revealing transitions from the pre-modern era to modernity. The Yearbook/Jahrbuch brings together a variety of methods and sub-fields in historiography, ranging from diplomatic and political history to social and legal history, the history of science and history of memory.
